MORNING

Pilates Movement

Starkholmes Village Hall // 9.15-10.15 & 10.30-11.30

We run two classes on a Monday. I teach the same plan so you won’t miss out by choosing your preferred time. You’ll need a yoga mat and comfortable clothing. Can’t do Monday? I’m here on Thursday! Suitable for beginners.

Barre

Matlock Imperial Rooms // 18.00-19.00

A mix of ballet, dance and Pilates. It’s sure to work your core, posture and improve functionality in your legs and hips. Please bring a mat with you, you’ll have your own barre for balancing! No rhythm or dance background required!

Pilates Movement

Youlgrave Village Hall // 10.15-11.15

Tuesdays at Youlgrave Village Hall are always good fun. We begin straight after zumba which finishes at 10am, because some customers like to do both classes! Bring a mat and comfortable clothing. Suitable for beginners.

Intermediate Mat

Bakewell Town Hall // 19.00-20.00

A moderate level of fitness or prior knowledge of Pilates is useful, but not essential. I use my layering method to build exercises from beginner, to intermediate, and often advanced level to challenge this group.

Hartington Village Hall // 10.00-11.00

Suitable for beginners and intermediates. My layering approach comes in to it’s own for this class, as we start with basic moves and perfect our technique before adding extra difficulty. Bring a mat and comfortable clothing.

Chair Pilates

Hartington Village Hall // 11.15-12.00

Not a copt out! Chair Pilates is great, it removes the need to be travelling up and down from a mat. We can still work every muscle group with my inventive array of chair and standing exercises, with the assistance of small equipment.

Beginner & Improver Mat

Rowsley Village Hall // 18.00-19.00. 

Suitable for beginners and improvers. We use my layering method to perfect our technique of the Pilates basics. Bring a mat and comfortable clothing.

Thursdays at Starkholmes are great fun. Some customers like to get their fix twice a week and join me on both Mondays and Thursdays. Bring a mat and comfortable clothing. Suitable for beginners.

Youlgrave Village Hall // 09.30-10.30

Fridays are typically a quieter day for exercise classes, so if you’d like a smaller group this is your best bet. It’s suitable for beginners, and replicates the Tuesday morning class. Bring a mat and comfortable clothing.

1:1 Pilates

You might benefit from a 1:1 if you have an injury or condition which impacts your exercise. We can find modifications to work around your injury so you can enjoy your Pilates practice to the fullest.
A beginner 1:1 can put you in great stead for joining a group class so we can master the basics of your Pilates practice.
Perhaps you don’t have time to join a class and need a flexible appointment.
